Halloween - just treat, no trick
[halloween – time for a spooky cake – this year I decided to make a cemetary]
35g cacao powder
150g dark chocolate
150g butter
250g brown sugar
125g ground almonds
4 eggs, separated
Decoration:
cookies
icing and chocolate glaze
Fondant (you can replace it with Marzipan)

Preheat the oven (160°C).
Disolve the cocoa in 80ml of hot water. Melt butter and chocolate over steam.
Add egg yolks, cacao, sugar and ground almonds and mix well.

Whip egg white until stiff. gently add to the mixture.
Use baking paper to spread the mixture on a baking tray.

Bake for aproximately 50 Minutes.
Decorate with icing, chocolate glaze and cookies.

use fondant or marzipan to craft spooky figures such as ghosts.
